Deryle Cline…we’ll miss him greatly

Deryle Cline passed away Friday evening (April 4). There was a visitation at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave, Kansas City, KS, on Monday evening (April 7) from 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial service was Tuesday (April 08) at 1:00 pm at the First Christian Church in Buffalo, MO.

Some of the bluegrassers paid tribute to Deryle by presenting a single white rose, in memory of his song, “Just A White Rose Will Do”.
Some of you, I know, were not in the HABOT club while Deryle served as president, but he served during a 15 year period. He was a great guy and a wonderful ambassador to bluegrass music. I’ve known him since 1980, and will miss him greatly. Joyce
